Who Are We
Lucky dice disability services has been operating out of the Brisbane QLD area since its inception in 2022. the aim of these events and services was to bring about the awareness of how table top gaming can assist in the lives of those with disabilities. In the past year our company has been able to assist those with mental and cognitive disabilities through the use of games as therapy, using several methods to improve social and cognitive function through gaming. And it is our intention to expand these concepts out and bring more people into these experiences.
Table top gaming has shown its versatility in the way it can be played and adapted. Its versatility in design, accessibility and ease of playability make it the perfect candidate for use in the disability sector. With the aim to provide services for people who have cognitive or behavioral needs. This could range from people with Autism or Asperger to someone who has suffered a traumatic brain injury or has a learning disability. Our intention is to create a safe space for people to gather and enjoy each other's company whilst playing a game of table top board gaming. our services are a NDIS based event allowing those with disabilities the chance to take part in these social events allowing the opportunity to broaden their horizons
Our Team
Our lead worker Travis has been operating out of our company since inception and has a staggering 11 years experience within tabletops gaming and organization/running of these events. They have several years of experience within disability and aged care sporting a certificate 3 in individualized care, as well as training in multiple areas of disability from mental health to dementia. With these skills he takes the lead roll within our tabletop gaming events as well as leading several workshops for aspiring hobbyists.
